To get tank ready:
1. Fill a fish tank or plastic tub (of any size) with water.
2. Pour in vegetable oil, it needs to be enough to make a small layer on top of water. (Enough oil so you can see the difference between oil and water)
To make boom:
1. Collect materials
2. Fold 2 plastic sleeves in half long ways
3. Fold 1 plastic sleeve in have the other way
4. Duct tape the 3 sleeves together with a longer sleeve on each side of the shorter sleeve
5. Duct tape 2 straws together
6. Repeat step 5 two more times
7. Put the double straws inside the fold of each sleeve
8. Get 10 pennies
9. Duct tape 5 pennies together
10. Repeat step 9
11. Put the pennies inside plastic, 1 bundle on each side
12. Duct tape bottom of plastic closed
13. Put a hole on each corner of long sleeves
14. Tie yarn to plastic using the holes
15. Put finished boom in tank
16. Take the pieces of yarn and pull across tank
